Make-up Artistry
Make-up Artistry is the ideal course for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the ever-expanding media industry. From fashion to film, this course provides learners with an introduction to the skills required to work as a make-up artist.
Provide students who wish to have a career in Make-up Artistry with the range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed in the industry. Students will learn everything from practical make-up application and skincare to simulation of wounds & special effects for Film, TV and Theatre.
- Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied, or equivalent.

- Portfolio of Work (Drawings/Sketches/Pictures of Make-up application)
Learners may also have the opportunity to study from a choice of modules such as Maths, English and French.
Students who successfully complete this course may gain entry to Third Level Institutes and colleges through the FETAC Higher Education Links Scheme.

This is a full-time one-year course and runs from September to May.
Full-time registered students of GTI may access a range of adult education courses at a reduced fee.
