For those aspiring to work in the film or television industry as a writer, actor, director, editor, or producer - this is the ideal course for you.

Course Content

One of the biggest problems for scriptwriters is knowing how to sell their story. Over the 12 weeks of the course our tutor, Garry Kelly, will teach aspiring writers and filmmakers the skills and give them the knowledge and confidence to understand the mechanics of telling a story, knowing the different formats, and showing them how to bring their story from paper to celluloid.

Every project starts with a story and although you can make a bad movie out of a good story, you can never make a good movie out of a bad story. Without great stories we would never have great movies. Knowing how to turn an idea into a story and then pitch it to a filmmaker is quite a difficult process for many writers. This course will help you achieve that goal.
