TRAINING NEEDS IDENTIFICATION AND DESIGN 6N3325

Participants have the option of continuing their professional qualification to gain an Advanced Certificate in Training and Development (6S3327)

Who is this Training Needs Identification and Design for?

Training Needs Identification and Design is a course for anyone who wants to gain a professional qualification in training skills. If you would like to become a professional trainer or train others as part of your job, this course is for you.

You will learn how to accurately identify training needs, using this information, to design training programmes.

o   Internal and external environmental factors influencing training and development

o   Concepts of learning, training development and education

o   Purpose of training and development

o   How to conduct a Training Needs Analysis

o   Instructional System Design (ISD) models

o   Identify barriers to training

o   Devise a training plan based on prioritised training needs to include cost benefit analysis

o   Design a training intervention

o   Skills to develop appropriate training content and materials using a range of learning aids

o   Evaluate a range of performance management approaches in context of T&D needs
