The Advanced Certificate in Software Development 6M0691 is a major award made up of 8 modules and leads to a nationally recognized qualification for those wishing to pursue a career in Software and IT. The course will take place over 18 months with certification in February 2021.

Each module carries a value of 15 credits, giving a total of 120 credits for the full award. Entry Requirements Leaving Certificate or equivalent, or Mature students, or work experience in a relevant area in lieu of qualification together with a strong interest in the area. 

Students must have 80% attendance to be entered for certification.

This course may be delivered through a blended learning approach which is a combination of classroom based and online learning to allow greater flexibility to learners who are either working full time or part time.
