Presentation Skills – Speaking to Groups 

Course Outline  

At the end of the course each participant will be able to prepare and deliver a short presentation. 

The programme will provide the participants with the opportunity to learn the key elements of preparation and delivery effective presentations. 

Learning Outcomes

• The participant will be able to prepare and deliver a short presentation to the group
• Develop knowledge of effective use of visual aids
• Understand the key element of timing
• Awareness of your own traits/behaviours
• Learn how to shoot a short video on phone/tablet/iPad
• Develop a working knowledge of PowerPoint
• Develop a working knowledge of Google Slides
• Develop a working knowledge of Prezi
• The participant will have the opportunity to present multiple times.

Method

The course would be a combination of Theory Input and Skill Practice. The participants would be mentored and challenged based on their level of knowledge and skill. The overall objective would be to improve everybody’s level of expertise.
