Charity Events at GTI

Cakes Glorious Cakes Served with a Side of Fashion  - The students from Security and Fashion courses in GTI hosted a bake sale and fashion pop up shop in aid of St. Vincent de Paul, in the canteen of GTI, Fr. Griffin Road, Galway on 28th of November. Students, teachers and the public were able to  enjoy a nice pastry and homebaked goods, Afterwards they browsed through the rails of the Fashion Pop up shop, some found their Christmas party outfit at a good price, all for a good cause. Students raised nearly €700.

Keep Fit for a Good Cause  -The students from the Security and Fashion courses in GTI also organised a 5k walk on 26th of November in aid of the charity St. Vincent de Paul.  Registration was through Eventbrite and it  began at the college grounds on Fr. Griffin Road, down to the beautiful prom in Salthill, and back to the college grounds.  Refreshments were provided, and the route was fully marshalled along the way. 

During college awareness week on Thursday 21st November beauty students raised over €200 for GAP - Galway Autism Partnership by providing luxury facials to students and public.
