This Train the Trainer course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to design, deliver and evaluate effective training programmes.

Entry Requirements 

Suitable for:

those wishing to become a Certified Trainer to deliver training for National Training Organisations i.e. ETB’s, Solas or to pursue a Training Role in Industry.

Tutor Biography 

Training and Development Specialist with over 20 years teaching experience in Adult and Community Education. As a Business Trainer Joan delivers training to a broad range of organisations including Public, Private and Voluntary Sector. Joan holds a Higher Diploma in HRM from the University of Limerick and a BA Degree in Management. She is a high-energy training professional with a wealth of multi-business experience. Learners have described her approach as both professional and engaging, coupled with the desire to encourage them to participate with practical and personal contributions. 

Note Participants have the option of continuing their professional qualification to gain an Advanced Certificate in Training and Development (6S3327). To complete this award participant must complete a second module: Training Needs Identification and Design scheduled to run in Term 3 Jan 2020.

FET Credit 

Every FET certificate and component specification includes an FET credit value. FET credit is quantified in multiples of 5 FET credits (up to 50 hours of learner effort). Learner effort is based on the time taken by typical learners at the level of the award to achieve the learning outcomes for the award. It includes all learning time involved including: guided learning hours, self-directed learning and assessment.
