Course Overview:

This up style course will introduce you to the basic components of up styling and creative hair design. This course is suitable for individuals, trainee hairdressers/hairdressing students or anyone interested in gaining a knowledge of up-styling.

Entry Requirements:

It is suitable for individuals with no experience or those with some up styling experience who need more in-depth knowledge and tips on techniques.

Students will learn the basic techniques that will increase their efficiency and enable them to develop their own portfolio in hair design.

Course Content:

• Hair care
• Product knowledge
• Hair preparation
• Plaits
• Creating up Styles

Students will be expected to purchase the following:

• Long haired doll head with clamp
• Styling brushes
• Curling tongs or straightener
• Tail comb.

Participants are requested to purchase above materials for own use.

Materials can be purchased separately. It is advisable to shop around and also enquire about student discount.
