1.     Evaluate supervision principles and practices across public, private, and voluntary sectors, including approaches tailored to specific contexts or organisations.

2.     Identify key attributes and skills of effective supervisors, such as communication, time management and organisational ability.

3.     Explain the supervisor’s role in establishing and improving standards and quality within an organisation.

4.     Apply planning, time management, and meeting facilitation skills, while documenting supervisory practices effectively.

5.     Overcome Barriers to Supervision and develop strategies to address common challenges, including conflict resolution and team dynamics.

6.     Design and execute operational plans with clear objectives, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

7.     Conduct training needs analyses, plan and deliver training, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor and evaluate team performance.

8.     Deliver constructive feedback, communicate expectations, and supervise team projects, including briefing, monitoring, and evaluating work progress.
