Erasmus+

KA2 INTEGRATION OF CLIL, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND ICT FOR STUDENTS OF BASIC VET AND INTERMEDIATE LEVEL TRAINING CYCLES IN EUROPE (https://empfp.com/)

GTI was delighted to participate in this innovative Erasmus+ project. The project objectives were as follows:

  • To evaluate the status of bilingual education with CLIL in VET (Vocational Educational Training) in all the countries participating in the project.
  • To promote the participation and training of teachers in the learning of CLIL learning in basic vocational training and intermediate level training cycles.
  • To serve as a motivating incentive for students in formal learning and to foster a culture of self-employment in disadvantaged environments.
  • To promote cooperation for the development of creativity and innovation among students, teachers and participating economic agents.
  • Foster strategic cooperation with local, national and international business communities.
  • To propose to the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, based on the results of the project, the implementation of a compulsory bilingual module in CLIL in all intermediate level training cycles in our country, as established in higher level vocational training, which would undoubtedly facilitate the scaffolding process, since the transfer from one cycle to the other is more than evident.
  • Also propose, based on the results obtained, the creation of a cross-curricular European module of common business project for medium-level institutions with the use of CLIL as the vehicular language of English, in which VET students exchange ICT, entrepreneurship and innovation.

GTI Staff and students collaborated with project partners were from Spain, Germany and Poland.
