Admissions Procedures 2025

1. Closing date for first round of applications is Friday May 2nd 2025 at 2:00pm.
2. Pre Guidance Meetings where applicable will take place from May 19th 2025.
3. Offers of places will issue following completion of first round pre-guidance meetings
4. Second Round applications open June 3rd 2025.
5. Pre-entry guidance meetings will take place from August 25th subject to availability of places.
6. Application system closes on September 30th for 2025 full-time entry.
7. €175 Registration Fee applies to all students

Refund Policy

1. Students enrolled following first round offers will, on written request to info.gti@gretb.ie be refunded fon cancellation of place by August 31st.
2. Students enrolled in August/September will, on written request to info.gti@gretb.ie be refunded on cancellation of place by September 30th.

CAO FET Operational Guidelines Timeline:

• The CAO FET Portal opens on November 5th 2024 which will enable FET/CAO learners to apply for their chosen courses through a central portal with applications to be managed through FETCH / PLSS. • The CAO FET Portal closes on 1st July 2025 whereafter, FET applicants will be diverted to make direct entry with their chosen college

Phases:

• Once application submitted through CAO (or directly through GTI onto CAO nominated course), applicant receives communication from GTI informing them of acknowledgement of application, required aptitude tests, interviews, and requested documentation to determine the applicant as a suitable candidate for a place to be offered. • Once deemed suitable for the course, a course offer can be made to applicant as is appropriate to local business processes
