I gained a lot from GTI. As the learning environment is small, it more inclusive and attends to the holistic and personal learning which for me was essential. It helped me to meet people and really connect with people I was working with every day. Over my two years at GTI, I was afforded many opportunities which I am able to reference on my CV. These opportunities have set me apart from others with similar qualifications in the same market. One of these opportunities and a highlight of the course, was the Erasmus+ program. I was selected to participate in a 3-week placement in Tenerife in my vocational area. The learning opportunities here were endless and boosted my skills and confidence in many ways. GTI also helped to develop other more practical skills which can be carried across many different areas of life such as organisational skills, time keeping, punctuality and basic communication between people – an essential in all business life. These are vital life skills. I really enjoyed my time studying at GTI and the people I met there are friends and contacts I will have for a very long time.
