Fashion and Photographic Make-up and Eyelash Extensions ITEC Level 3
This one year Make-up Artistry course is the ideal course for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the ever-expanding beauty/fashion & media industries. From fashion to film, this course provides learners with an introduction to the skills required to work as a make-up artist. As part of this course students create make-up looks for fashion shows, magazine shoots and theatrical performances and in the process develop a comprehensive portfolio featuring a range of different looks. The main aim of the VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Fashion and Photographic Make-up is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide fashion and photographic treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the make-up and photographic industry. The main aim of the VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Eyelash Extensions is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide eyelash extensions treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the beauty therapy industry. This is a full-time one-year course and runs from September to May.
Application of individual eyelash extensions to include carrying out skin tests, products, tools and techniques to suit the client’s treatment needs

Make-up artistry career opportunities exist in the fields of cosmetic sales, film, television, photography, theatre, fashion and the print-media. Graduates work as professional make-up and special-effects artists. Freelance or contract employment in media productions and presentations is common. The Skin Treatment Diploma enables graduates to gain employment in beauty salons and/or as freelance therapists/make-up artists. The work is varied, interesting and rewarding.
