The BELONGtoEU project was created to address a real and pressing challenge: reducing the distance many students feel from the European Union — its institutions, its values, and the opportunities it provides. By doing so, the project aims to respond to declining political participation, rising Euro-scepticism, and increased exposure to populism and nationalism.

This exciting initiative is led by Apro Formazione, in collaboration with international partners from Italy, Spain, North Macedonia, Estonia, and Ireland.

What does BELONGtoEU aim to achieve?
➡️ Strengthen teachers’ skills through targeted training, job shadowing, mobility, and co-teaching
➡️ Develop a multilingual e-toolkit with teaching units and digital resources accessible to schools
➡️ Foster transnational collaboration and build strong networks between schools, universities, and key stakeholders
➡️ Ensure the long-term integration of European methodologies and content into education and training programmes

BELONGtoEU is much more than an educational project — it is a strategic investment in building active European citizenship, encouraging participation, and enhancing the quality of education. It represents a model that can be replicated across Europe.
